I don't even know where to begin. Our experience with Berwyn Western was different from the start. From my first conversation with Chris where I discussed our situation, to working with him, Connie and the crew, they were at all times warm, compassionate, helpful and above all, kind. They are real people. When I had lost hope that we were going to be able to get our system replaced before the dangerous heat wave, Chris and team found a solution and got us taken care of. Their knowledge and expertise is superior, and the workmanship was excellent. We are customers for life. And they are a LOCAL company! In a world of mega corporations with AI bots answering calls, it was incredibly refreshing to work with good people who are of the community they service.

Berwyn Western just assisted me in getting my AC replaced and replaced the water valves for my washing machine. Everybody from the office staff to the installers were so very helpful, knowledgeable and thorough in getting both jobs completed. Delightful to work with!!

After speaking with multiple Carrier dealers over several months and reviewing numerous proposals, we ultimately chose Berwyn Western Plumbing and Heating for our furnace replacement. We never felt pressured, and we always felt that he was focused on finding the right long-term solution for our home. Our installation is scheduled for later this summer, and I will post a follow-up review after the project is completed. The quality of service and professionalism that was provided to us was exceptional, phenomenal, and just outstanding! My wife and I received much more than what we expected. Chris and the Berwyn Western family embraced my wife and I as family and they serviced us and cared for us as family! Chris was not just interested in doing a "job" -- He was interested in developing a relationship and friendship with us! He saw that we were in a very difficult situation and he demonstrated compassion and wanted to help us. This is so rare in today's world where people do not care about the difficulties that others are dealing with. This was not just a "job" to them and about "money" -- Chris cared that my wife and I had suffered through a harsh winter and blistering summer because we were not able to have our HVAC replaced. He looked after my wife and I to make sure our needs were met, that we were being treated fairly and that we were satisfied and receiving more than what we could have expected! Our rooftop HVAC unit burned out on us and we needed a new unit. However, when I contacted other companies to provide an estimate for a new unit, they were not interested because the job was too risky. If something was done incorrectly, my home and the other homes in my association could catch fire -- Companies did not want to be bothered with this situation! And then when I did get an estimate, it was excessive. I googled references and found Berwyn Western -- They received the highest rating from the Better Business Bureau! After my personal experience with Chris and Berwyn Western, I understand why and they deserve the highest rating possible!!! Chris and his professional, exceptional team of electricians, installers, etc. came to my home, analyzed the situation, and with confidence took on the task without hesitation. Chris assured me that everything would work out and my wife and I would not be without heat or air! Chris and his team treated us like we mattered to them and providing us with the highest quality of service was their top priority. Again, my wife and I so deeply appreciate Chris and we are so grateful for him! Our home had never been so warm since we purchased it some years ago -- I kept telling Chris that I did not know that our home could actually feel this warm. Our home only got somewhat warm in certain rooms -- But now the entire house gets so warm we had to bring the temperature down to the 60's! Chris completed this task months ago, but he cares so much about our satisfaction that he stays in contact with me to make sure we are ok. They replaced our first floor bath with a shower. Job was done on time and professionally. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I contacted Berwyn Western to get a second opinion as to whether I needed to replace my furnace even though it was only 7.5 years old. I didn’t trust the company I’ve used to maintain my furnace for the past 25 years. Eric came out to check my American Standard 2-stage furnace for any problems it might have. He called me before he arrived at my house, checked all of the furnace’s major components, explained what he was doing, and answered all of my questions about the different components and their functions. I was very pleased with the service I received and plan on using Berwyn Western’s HVAC services in the future.

Mark was incredibly helpful in repairing a gas pipe that had a leak. Very thorough and was happy to answer all of my questions. He did not leave until everything in the house was back up and running.

They get the job done, plain and simple. When it's too cold or too hot outside, you want your heating and cooling system to get up and running as soon as possible with as little visits as possible. I have used Berwyn western for my furnace and plumbing needs for over two decades. The service has always been prompt and excellent. Eric cleaned my furnace and also looked at and addressed concerns. I had about my sump pump. He was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. He also explained some Preventative attention I could give to my furnace on my own, Decreasing the risk of need for future service. They have my highest recommendation

Posting on behalf of my boyfriend: Weird experience... I called to have a plumber come out for a minor leak in the water line connected to my water heater. Justin came by and even used my tools to fix the leak. When it came time to pay, I was charged $249 and I signed for that amount. He was here for 30 minutes or less. Later, I received a call saying I had been charged the wrong amount and they needed to deduct another $100 from my credit card. At first, I thought maybe the total was supposed to be $349 and they only charged $249, but I clearly signed for $249. I've already reported this to my bank. Not sure what the mix-up was on their end, but if I signed for $249, that's the only amount I should be charged.

I highly recommend Berwyn Western Plumbing. They had a plumber out to my house very quickly. I had concerns about several things. He checked my ejector pump, hot water heater and sump pump. He determined that the only work needed was replacing my sump pump. Justin was honest and helpful.

It is a pleasure to have Berwyn Western Plumbing as our primary contractor. Their attention to detail and personalized customer care is unmatched. One of our buildings is over 100 years old and they are able to address the complications associated with an old property with professionalism and skill. I highly recommend them. Justin came today to fix my dripping faucet. He was on time, his estimate was accurate and he was very personable. Just another, excellent experience when dealing with Berwyn Western.

I got my entire HVAC system replaced. Not only did they fit it in to occur before the 4th of July but they worked long days to make it happen. The lead person and his associate kept me appraised every step of the way. They showed me how to program my new thermostat, changed my filters, and use my humidifier in the winter. The guys were very nice and extraordinarily professional and respectful of my property. They were recommended to me by one of my clients who has used them for 30 years and I would highly recommend them to others.

Tech came out to do a basic service cleaning for my rental property and did not keep the findings confidential with me as the owner and disclosed everything to the tenants and overdramatized that the situation hoping to drum up business would not use again.

This entire team, HVAC to Plumbing, is always solid and always a pleasure to work with. Very knowledgeable and happy to explain everything going on to their customers, as well as listen and talk through the troubleshooting steps I have already taken. We inherited some high efficiency HVAC units when we bought our house and we chose to stick with Berwyn Western for service because these units aren't always as common and not all service technicians will be super familiar with them. The team at Berwyn Western knows their stuff and is able to get things sorted in an efficient and timely manner every time. I can't say enough how much I trust Eric when it comes to both our boiler and our A/C unit, and Mike when it comes to any plumbing related thing. Highly recommend.
